Credit Account Facilities

1. Applying for a Credit Account

If you wish to apply for a credit account with Tait Components please complete the Application Form and return it via Post or Fax to the address below.

You will need the free Adobe Reader to view the Application Form

Please ensure that you read and understand those terms of business before you sign them. If you need any help regarding the account application or terms and conditions of sale, please contact our accounts department on 0141 564 1564. Education Establishments and Local Authorities have automatic account facilities. Whilst your application is being processed, you may still purchase goods with cash/cheque or credit cards.

2. Ordering Using Your Credit Account

You can place orders using your credit account over the phone, by fax, post, e-mail, on-line (see section below for details on how to use your credit account on-line) or in person at our trade counter. An official Purchase order number/document is required for all credit account orders. When ordering using your credit account facility, please provide your telesales contact with your credit account number, the delivery address, purchase order number, contact name and phone number. Please note that the minimum order value for credit accounts is £5.00.

Credit Accounts Online

In order to use your Credit Account facilities on-line on our website, you must first set up user accounts for each person who will be using the website to place orders. To do so, follow the instructions below for registering users for on-line ordering.

1. Registering for On-line Ordering

To download a form to register for on-line ordering click here (Acrobat Reader required).

Each user who wishes to place orders on-line must be registered by filling in this application form and posting it to the following address:

Section A is to be completed and signed by the Company Director or the Manager who is in charge of the Tait Components Ltd account.

Section B is to be completed and signed by the company employee who wishes to register as a user on the Tait Components Ltd website.

The Terms and Conditions on Page 3 must be signed and dated by both signatories.

Multiple users may be registered to a single credit account, however each users e-mail address and password must be unique.

2. Using the Tait Components website for On-line Ordering

Once the User has registered for on-line account ordering by completing and returning this application form, their e-mail address will be registered under the company credit account and a password will be issued to the user.

The user can then log into Tait Components website using that e-mail address and password, and orders placed shall be automatically charged to the company credit account.

A Purchase Order reference is required for every account order placed on-line.

Improper use will result in the suspension of on-line account ordering facilities for the user and it is the responsibility of the Company Supervisor/Authorised Signatory to make sure that the correct users have access to the Tait Components on-line account ordering facilities.
